Terms and Conditions:
  1. The act of communicating the numeric code on the pack label to the company through email, phone-call or through the website www.castrol.co.in, deems the person a participant in the sweepstake to win a trip to the FIFA World-Cup 2010 in South Africa.
  2. Decision of the company with regard to the award of the above prize would be final and binding on all participants
  3. The Company reserves the right to postpone or cancel the sweepstakes for any reason including due to provisions of any Statute or Rules or Regulations as may be in force from time to time.
  4. By communicating the numeric code to the company as described above, you are permitting authorized agents of the company to contact you by phone, e-mail and post.
  5. No cash reward or compensation of any kind can be claimed in lieu of the above declared reward. The trip to the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa is non-transferrable.A consumer can win ONLY one ticket to the FIFA World Cup 2010 even though he or she may have been selected as a winner in more than one draw.
  6. The choice of the FIFA World-Cup 2010 match that the winner will get a ticket for, and other details of travel will be as determined by authorized employees of the Company.
  7. To win the trip to South Africa, the candidate needs to have a passport valid till at least 31st January 2011 and no criminal record or ongoing criminal court proceedings.
  8. Castrol authorized representatives will make best efforts to arrange for VISA and other travel documents for the winners. But if VISA for travel to South Africa for the FIFA World-Cup is denied to a winner by the Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of South Africa for any reason whatsoever, Castrol is not responsible for providing any compensation monetary or otherwise to the winners. Castrol reserves the right to select another winner under such circumstances.
  9. To be eligible to win in the above sweepstakes, the product must be purchased from an authorized distributor or retailer of Castrol.
  10. This offer is not valid for any individual who is an employee of Castrol, an authorized distributor of Castrol products or an authorized retailer of Castrol products or an employee or owner of the agencies involved in the sweepstakes execution or is a spouse or child/ children of the above. Candidature of any such person in the sweepstake is void.
  11. The winners need to produce (a) the Original Invoice as proof of purchase and (b) his or her passport as personal identification document at the time of claiming the reward. The name of the consumer as "sold to" on the Invoice for the Castrol product and the name as on the Passport need to be identical.
  12. The redemption of the trip is subject to Income Tax and such other taxes as may be applicable or in force from time to time.
  13. Any dispute with regards to the scheme will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai only.
  14. This sweepstake is valid till 15th April 2010 only. However, the Company reserves the right to announce a few winners in each market-space category before the said date. At least, one winner would be announced for each market-space category on 15th April, 2010. All voice-based, internet or text (sms) registrations should be completed before 5 pm India time by the above date.
  15. The Company reserves the right to alter, change or modify the terms & conditions of the sweepstake at any time the same is in force.
